2012 Coastal Carolina Aquatic Association Championship Meet At A Glance

Highlights of the 2012 Coastal Carolina Aquatic Association regular season and championship meet, which was held July 15-17 at the Jewish Community Center in West Ashley:

1. COOSAW CREEK CROCODILES 2,816½

Defended CCAA championship crown ... Obtained most current CCAA championship meet records ... Undefeated season ... Age group champions in 8&U boys, 13-14 boys, 15-18 girls ... Overall boys champion ... 15-18 mixed medley team of Micah Bohon, Brandon Rattigan, Jeremiah Bohon, and Marina Filo set meet record in 1:58.41, breaking record set previous year by Coosaw Creek ... Brandon Rattigan set record in 15-18 boys breaststroke (30.06), also 2nd free ... Micah Bohon set meet records while winning 50 backstroke (30.51) and 100 individual medley (1:06.40). Hobcaw’s 15-18 boys free relay team finished .06 seconds ahead of Shadowmoss at City Meet, allowing Marlins to finish six points ahead of the Sharks and win fourth-place trophy ...
