One man shot another three times over car repairs, according to Charleston police.
The incident happened about 8:20 p.m. Friday at Martin Brothers Automotive on Clements Ferry Road. Police said 23-year-old Bernard Aaron Green and 35-year-old Warren Martin squabbled about the repairs at the dead-end of the road.
Green shot Martin three times, according to police, and an acquaintance of Martin drove him to Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital.
Paramedics later took Martin to Medical University Hospital. Police said his injuries were not life threatening.
Officers arrested Green on charges of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
