Greenville outslugs RiverDogs, 9-6
David Renfroe and Henry Ramos launched two-run homers for the Greenville Drive, and they went on to defeat the Charleston RiverDogs, 9-6, in South Atlantic League baseball at Riley Park with 4,598 in attendance on Saturday night.
Greenville (44-48, 10-12) rallied from a 6-3 deficit to take the series opener from the RiverDogs (52-38, 13-10).
After falling behind 3-0, Charleston went up by three with a six-run fourth inning, highlighted by a two-run double from Eduardo Sosa and a two-run single by Cito Culver.
But the Drive knotted the score in the sixth and went on top with three in the seventh.

Before the game, the new U.S. Postal Service Larry Doby stamp was unveiled as part of Larry Doby Weekend.
Coming up
Charleston will start right-hander Bryan Mitchell (6-7, 4.80 ERA) today against right-hander Mike McCarthy (1-3, 4.19). Three former Negro League players will be recognized, and both teams will wear throwback Negro League uniforms. A Moms Day Tent will be set up, providing mini-spa treatments for all moms. Also, today is Family Sunday with free parking and kids eat free. There will be a pregame catch on the field and postgame autographs.
