9391 N. Heyward Court — Proximity to Wescott golf course highlights roomy ranch for lease

More than once, people have chosen to rent a place because it’s close to a pastime they enjoy. Surfers want to be near waves, dancers by a club.

And golfers, naturally, would be intrigued residing alongside a tee, fairway or green.

One rental with a link to links is 9391 N. Heyward Court. The 2,200-square-foot house is on a cul de sac in the Vistas neighborhood within the Wescott Plantation master planned community.

“It backs up to the golf course,” says Vito Coloneri, who is handling the property lease. Wescott Plantation golf course is open to the public and one of the more popular layouts to play in metro Charleston.

Rent for the one-story home is $1,495 a month with a one-year lease, he says. Included in the rent is lawn maintenance. Pets are negotiable.

The residence’s course-side location is not its only attraction. Built in 2006, the rental home has three bedrooms and two baths. There’s a living-dining room combination, a den with gas fireplace and an office.

The eat-in kitchen showcases modern appliances. The house also has a laundry room.

Among the property’s outside highlights is a fenced-in backyard. The residence also has a two-car garage.

Meanwhile, tenants can take advantage of a community swimming pool and clubhouse at Wescott Plantation, a residential village in the city of North Charleston and Dorchester County.

Coloneri says the house is ready for occupancy at any time. He says the property would be fitting for most any tenant, while noting that Wescott, “I guess, is kind of a family neighborhood.”

The house is toward the front of the sprawling Wescott Plantation community. From Interstate 26 west, take exit 209B, which is Ashley Phosphate Road. Follow Ashley Phosphate to Dorchester Road and make a right. Take Dorchester for about three miles and turn right on Wescott Boulevard. Once in Wescott, make the first right on Markley Boulevard. Turn left on Franconia Drive, then make a right on North Heyward Court. Ahead is 9391 N. Heyward Court.
