St. George man identified in fatal wreck
A St. George man died when his pickup truck ran off the road Sunday night.
Gregory Jamison, 49, of St. George, died at the scene after being thrown from the vehicle, according to Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet.
The wreck happened about 10:15 p.m. on Seven Acres Road near St. George, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol. A 1989 Isuzu pickup truck ran off the road to the left, then back to the right before hitting an embankment and overturning. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
