113 Bee St. Spiffed-up inside, moderate price highlight brick home for lease in Summerville

An interior paint job can go a long way to freshening up a house that’s ready to be rented out.
Factor in a good-sized yard, carport and close proximity to schools, and the property is even more appealing.
Then consider the discounted monthly rent: $775.
Those are some of the attributes of 113 Bee St., a brick home that’s for lease a quarter-mile from Summerville High School.
“The main attraction is brand new paint inside,” says John Nelson, who owns and operates Quality Rental Homes and is handling the 113 Bee St. lease.
Finding a place for less than $800 a month with a renewed atmosphere inside is not easy, he says.
Meanwhile, the residence has a versatile layout. The 1,300-square-foot house contains three bedrooms, a fenced lawn and covered space to park a vehicle. Also situated on the property is a 100-square-foot storage shed.
With the roomy features, the dwelling is spacious enough to be “a starter home (or for) a younger family with kids,” Nelson says.
There’s more: the home sports a large eat-in kitchen, living room with upgraded ceiling fan and tile-floored bathrooms.
From a convenience angle, 113 Bee St. has its merits. The house is a single turn from Old Orangeburg Road, two lefts from Boone Hill Road, about three miles from Dorchester Road and five miles from downtown Summerville.
Maybe the best news, though, for someone eager to relocate is this: The home is “ready for immediate occupancy,” he says.
The residence is in lower Dorchester County on the western edge of Summerville.
Heading west on Interstate 26, take a left at exit 199A for U.S. Highway 17A (Main Street). Follow Main through Summerville’s historic business district, where it becomes Boone Hill Road. Continue on Boone Hill for about four miles. Turn right on Old Orangeburg Road and make the second right on Froman Drive. Off Froman, take the first right on Bee St. Ahead is 113 Bee St.
