West Ashley All-Stars capture state championship

The West Ashley 10-and-under All-Stars overpowered Mount Pleasant, 19-5, in the championship game of the Cal Ripken state tournament today in Aiken.

West Ashley advanced to the state championship by beating Mount Pleasant, 12-1, on Saturday. Friday, West Ashley beat District One, 14-3.
