Charleston Savvy Shoppers probably have already begun noticing **StarStar names popping up on TV, during their favorite early morning news shows, on the radio, in previews at the movie theater or while shopping.

**StarStar connects us with our favorite brands and organizations by simply making a quick call on our mobile phones. Standard phone message and data rates apply depending on the plan you have with your mobile carrier.

It is geared toward busy, on-the- go people who want to learn about a new product, save money, support a cause or get information quickly.

“We just launched the service 15 months ago, and there are already over a hundred major brands using **StarStar including Lexus, CBS, Dell, ESPN, Dunkin' Donuts, MTV and Dove's campaign for 'real women,' ” says Jim Stanley, vice president of marketing and product, StarStar, Zoove Corp. “You may also have seen local **SINK ads from South Carolina-based law firm George Sink.” The service is available on most wireless carriers.

How does it work?

“Let's say you're at Charleston's Fashion Week or the Wine + Food Festival,” says Stanley, “and see an item you're interested in. If it has a **StarStar code, you can simply call to learn more, get a free sample or even make an on-the-spot purchase.”
