College of Charleston’s Andrew Lawrence to play for Great Britain in Olympics

College of Charleston basketball player Andrew Lawrence will represent Great Britain in the Summer Olympics that begin later this month in London.
Lawrence, a senior guard for the Cougars, made the final cut for Great Britain’s national basketball team. Lawrence and Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng are the only members of the Great Britain team currently playing in the United States.
The Olympics begin July 27. Great Britain’s first basketball game is set for July 29.
