Police seek help finding car break-in suspect
Charleston police are asking for help finding a man who broke into cars last month in the Sylvan Shores neighborhood.
William Justus Porter is suspected of breaking into three cars on Pristine View Road June 3 or 4 and taking about $5 in coins, a prescription for Duradrin, a gym bag and several bungee cords. All the cars were apparently unlocked, according to the report.
Police think Porter and his girlfriend are likely staying in a motel, spokesman Charles Francis said. He was last known to be at the Motel 6 on Savannah Highway on Monday.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
