A Charleston man was arrested for pawning items that were stolen from a Laurens Street home, an incident report said.

David Martin Cavanaugh, 58, pawned sterling silver salt and pepper shakers and a candle snuffer at Money Man Pawn, 450 Meeting Street, on June 11, according to the report.

A woman reported the items stolen on June 23 after noticing they were missing. The home the items were stolen from is under renovation and wasn’t occupied at the time of the robbery, the report said.

Charleston police were able to track the items’ ticket numbers back to Cavanaugh to arrest him.
