Congressman Tim Scott to recognize World War II vets
U.S. Rep. Tim Scott has invited the 1st Congressional District’s World War II veterans to join him in a ceremony honoring their service.
The event will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 28 in the North Charleston Convention Center.
Each veteran will receive a congressional certificate of appreciation, as well as a pin.
All interested veterans should register with Rep. Scott’s office by calling the toll-free office number at 888-868-0737 to ensure they will receive a certificate and be recognized.
