CREEKSIDE BASSMASTERS
Kevin Clark caught five bass that weighed 9.01 pounds to win the Creekside Bassmasters’ June tournament fished out of Cypress Gardens Boat Landing on the Cooper River. He also won the big fish award with a 4.08-pound bass. Matt Judy finished second with five bass that weighed 6.07 pounds and Darrell Glenn was third with five bass that weighed 5.06 pounds.

CAMP GOOD TIMES FISHING DAY
Lowcountry Anglers will be holding the Camp Good Times Fishing Day beginning at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Pier. Camp Good Times is dedicated to children with autism and their friends. Contact Tony Kozloski at (843) 884-5909.

INSHORE LIVE BAIT TECHNIQUES SEMINAR

Scott Hammond will lead a free seminar on inshore live bait fishing techniques at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Haddrell’s Point West Ashley. Call (843) 573-3474.

TARPON RELEASE TOURNAMENT
The 18th annual Charleston Harbor Tarpon Release Tournament will be fished from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. July 7. The entry fee is $35 and registration will take place from 5-7 p.m. July 5 at Toler’s Cove Pool House. Registration forms are available at Haddrell’s Point, Atlantic Tackle and Toler’s Cove. CHARLESTON COASTAL ANGLERS
The Charleston Coastal Anglers’ 39th open fishing tournament will be held July 14 out of James Island Yacht Club with weigh-in from 4-5:30 p.m. The captain’s meeting will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. July 11 at James Island Yacht Club. The entry fee is $35 for adults and $15 for youth 15 and younger. Eligible species are king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, trout, ladyfish, bluefish, sheepshead, spadefish, blackfish, flounder, dogfish and spot-tail with the most spots. There also is a $50 tournament within a tournament for king mackerel. Contact Lee Moyer at (843) 795-5136.
