Early-morning warrant sweep results in 7 arrests in Ladson
A warrant sweep of the Ladson area netted seven arrests this morning, Charleston County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Maj. Jim Brady said.
The sweep targeted the Woodside Manor community off U.S. Highway 78 and was the result of an apparent increase in criminal activity in recent months, including drug sales and shootings.
Several agencies participated in the search including the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics team, Metro Narcotics Units and police departments out of Goose Creek, Summerville and North Charleston.
