Ryan shines at Hershey’s State Meet
Hailey Ryan was one of five City of Charleston Swamp Fox track team athletes to qualify for the Hershey’s State Meet on June 9 at Park West Sports Complex in Mount Pleasant, and the 12-year-old had an outstanding performance.
Ryan captured first place in the 400 meters, running the event in 1:04.63, cutting her personal best time by three seconds.
Ryan will be placed in the Region 8 selection pools for consideration to participate in the Hershey’s North American Finals.
The selection process will be finalized by mid-July.
