League of Women Voters to hold forum for Senate 41 candidates

The Charleston area League of Women Voters will hold a forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday on Johns Island for the candidates seeking to fill the remainder of the Senate 41 seat.
The July 17 special election will pit two Charleston lawyers against one another, including Democrat Paul Tinkler and Republican Walter Hundley. Also, Green party candidate Sue Edward is in the race.
The forum will be held at the Berkeley Electric Co-Op building, 3351 Maybank Highway.
Tinkler also is running for the four-year Senate 41 term on Nov. 6, and he will face Republican Paul Thurmond.
