3-star defensive end Dane Rogers commits to Clemson
CLEMSON - Clemson football continued its recruiting momentum today as it received a verbal commitment from 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive end Dane Rogers (Shelby, N.C.).
Rogers is the 11th commitment in the 2013 class and the eighth commitment in the 2013 and 2014 classes in just over a week for Clemson, which has had an ultra-productive week of recruiting after a slow start to the 2013 recruiting period.
Rogers, rated as a three-star prospect by Scout.com and Rivals.com, is the third defensive end recruit in the 2013 class for Clemson, joining five-star prospect Robert Nkemdiche and four-star prospect Elijah Daniel.
