One of three suspects surrenders to Charleston police in armed robbery case
One of three suspects surrendered to Charleston police today in connection with an armed robbery that happened near Pitt and Montagu streets last week, police spokesman Charles Francis said.
Raymond Eurie Jr., 21, of Stall Road is charged with armed robbery and is being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
Police are still searching for Tavia Wiggins, 21, and Lakeith Edwards, 25, both of Stall Road.
According to a police report, a 38-year-old West Ashley man had just gotten into a parked pickup truck about 11 p.m., when the two male suspects approached, opened both the driver side and passenger side doors and robbed him. The female suspect stood nearby during the robbery, the report said.
This investigation is still ongoing.
