Detectives are looking for a 22-year-old Summerville man in connection with a shooting in a Walterboro parking lot Tuesday afternoon.

Raheem Jamal Henderson is wanted on a charge of attempted murder, according to a report from Walterboro Public Safety.

The arrest warrant stems from an incident just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, when 23-year-old Tyrone Deandre Jones was shot outside the Druid Hill Apartments at 189 Beach Road.

Jones suffered gunshot wounds to both thighs, according to the report.

After the shooting, the police said Jones fled to the Edisto Terrace Apartments, about a mile away on Mable T. Willis Boulevard.

He was found, then transported to Colleton County Medical Center. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

The police did not say what prompted the shooting. Jones told them that Henderson shot him, according to the report, and the arrest warrant was issued.
