Alice Cooper to throw ceremonial first pitch Sunday at Charleston RiverDogs game
For four decades, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper has been able to strike chords with music lovers. Now we’ll get the chance to see if he can throw a strike.
The legendary performer, who is in town for a Monday night concert at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center, will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Charleston RiverDogs-Savannah Sand Gnats game on Sunday at Riley Park.
Game time is 5 p.m., and tickets are available at the box office or online. Call (843) 577-3647 or go to riverdogs.com.
“We are thrilled to have a true rock icon, Alice Cooper, as part of our fun by throwing the first pitch at Sunday’s game,” said RiverDogs general manager Dave Echols. “We encourage our fans and Alice’s fans to come to Riley Park early to witness one of the most exciting first pitches of the season.”
The “No More Mr. Nice Guy” tour makes a stop in the Lowcountry on Monday at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. Showtime is 8 p.m. and tickets are available at the North Charleston Coliseum Advance Ticket Office, online at ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000 or at Ticketmaster outlets.
