This floor plan released by Homeplans.com shows the second floor of a classic family home for House of the Week HMAFAPW01307.

Looking for a classic family home with special touches? Plan HMAFAPW01307 from Homeplans.com might be the one.

The two-story design features 2,142 square feet of finished living space, with a full-basement foundation option offering an additional 1,050 square feet to finish later.

On the left side of the plan, you’ll find the living room with a tray ceiling and fireplace, as well as the dining room with space for a buffet.

In the back, you can relax in the home’s casual zone, where the island kitchen, breakfast nook and family room combine to form one gathering space. The breakfast nook has double doors to the rear porch, while the family room has a fireplace.

A desk here makes a handy place to check email and charge phones.

Access the two-car garage through the laundry room, where a thoughtfully placed closet waits to receive coats and shoes upon re-entry.

Upstairs, a skylight and art niche enhance the hallway. Head left to enter the master suite, which boasts a vaulted ceiling in the bedroom, a large walk-in closet and a lavish full bath with twin sinks, a garden tub and a skylight in the shower.

Across the balcony, three additional bedrooms share a hall bath that features another skylight.
