Dorchester District 2 names assistant superintendent of curriculum
Dorchester School District 2 has named a new Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
Sean Alford, chief instructional services officer in Beaufort County School District, will begin this new position with the district in July.
The position of Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction has been vacant in District 2 for two years.
Alford hasalso worked in Richland County School District One and Lexington/Richland School District Five. In his current position in Beaufort County School District, he directs the comprehensive instructional and technological programs for thirty-one schools and over 20,000 students.
