One killed, 3 injured in Moncks Corner wreck
One man was killed and three others were injured in a two-car collision early Saturday near Moncks Corner.
The driver of one of the cars, Christopher L. Lilly, 44, of Moncks Corner, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office. Three people from the second car were transported to a local hospital.
The two cars collided head-on on Old Highway 52 a mile south of Moncks Corner at 12:15 a.m. Saturday, according to the coroner’s office. Lilly was wearing a seatbelt.
The accident is under investigation by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol.
