Mayor Summey getting gallbladder surgery
North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey will be undergoing gallbladder removal surgery Friday morning at a local hospital, his office said.
His doctors anticipate a quick recovery and Summey hopes to be back at City Hall next week.
Summey and his family ”express their appreciation for your thoughts,” a spokesman said.
