Monday Pan Pacific Festival
What: A tasting trip of Asian cuisine. Menu works well as a buffet or sit-down dinner of Laotian shrimp and fruit salad; vegetables with Thai peanut sauce; laab: Thai chicken with lime, mint and cilantro; Balinese coconut steamed rice; and coconut sesame cookies.

Menu includes a meze platter (appetizer): tiropitas: cheese and phyllo pastries; zucchini, feta and pistachio fritters; marinated mushrooms; and moussaka: the celebrated Greek dish of meat and eggplant with a sweet and spice tomato sauce. Two Greek wines.

What: Old Village Post House hosts Compass Box Whisky for a special dinner. Compass Box is a specialist Scotch whisky maker. Chef de cuisine Forrest Parker and chef Frank Lee have created a menu that underlines the flavors from the Scotch. Reservations are required.
