A man and a woman were arrested after methamphetamine was seized in Goose Creek by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit.

Deputies made the arrests at Brentwood Town Homes on Harbour Lake Drive, sheriff’s spokesman Dan Moon said Monday. He said deputies met with an apartment resident, Susan E. Stefani, 30, who told them she’d just finished smoking meth. Stefani agreed to the search, Moon said.

Authorities found components of a methamphetamine lab and more than 25 grams of packaged methamphetamine in a closet in the master bedroom, Drug Enforcement Unit Capt. Mike Williams said.

Stefani was arrested along with Horace C. Curtis, 35, of Shadow Drive in North Charleston. Both are charged with manufacturing and trafficking methamphetamine as well as child endangerment, Moon said.
