RAMSEY, Ruth Elise, 88, of Charleston, widow of Harold L. Ramsey, died Friday. Arrangements by Stuhr’s West Ashley Chapel.

SOUTHERN, Alice Reeves, 79, of North Charleston, a retired secretary at the Charleston Naval Hospital and widow of William G. Southern, died Saturday. Arrangements by Stuhr’s Northwoods Chapel.

WALTERS, Georgia Carline Clemmons, 103, of Charleston, a former grocery store owner-manager and widow of James B. Walters, died Saturday. Arrangements by Stuhr’s West Ashley Chapel.

Berkeley County
POOLE, Mickey Donald, 56, of St. Stephen, former heavy-equipment operator for Daniel Construction at DuPont and husband of Marie Powell Poole, died Saturday. Arrangements by Dial-Murray Funeral Home of Moncks Corner.

SIMPSON, Mary, 93, of Charlotte, a first lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps, died Wednesday. Arrangements by Hankins and Whittington Funeral Home.
