Tryouts for American Legion Post 147 baseball are slated

Tryouts for the 2012 American Legion Post 147 Senior League baseball team will be held May 14, 15, and 16 at the James Island Charter High School Baseball facility located at 1000 Ft. Johnson Rd. on James Island.

Registration begins at 5 p.m. with the tryouts beginning at 5:30 pm. The tryout is open to players ages 15 to 19 from the James Island, West Ashley, Wando, Charleston and Johns Island areas.

There is no cost to tryout or play American Legion baseball. For additional information, contact Thomas Baskin at 819-8118 or Greg Millhouse at 323-8093.
