James Island man shot in the leg, wont tell deputies how it happened
A James Island man is not telling how he was shot in the leg.
Charleston County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at 1128 Jeffrey Drive on James Island about 2:20 p.m. today to check out reports of a shooting, according to Maj. Jim Brady. They talked with a 29-year-old man who told them he had been shot in the calf. The victim, who has not been identified, refused to tell deputies where he was when he was shot or who did it, according to Brady. A check of the immediate area did not reveal a crime scene.
That’s all the information that was released today, and a copy of the crime report was not yet available.
