Mount Pleasant Pride enjoys impressive run in soccer

The South Carolina United Mount Pleasant Pride girls soccer team has been so dominant, it is playing in the boys league this spring.

Since August, the Pride has not lost to a girls team and amassed a 24-4-0 record, losing only to boys teams.

The Pride collected 76 goals while allowing just 15 and won five tournaments and a league title.

Coached by Andy Grist and Matt Job, the Pride roster includes Sami Meredith, Chloe Bailey, Micah Spickerman, Chloe Harrell, Maggie Van Thullenar, Maya Andrade, Natalie Aversano, Sarah Pruitt, Julia Pait, Sophie Job and Sydney Schaff.
