Independent schools unite for peace fair
On Saturday, students from Ashley Hall, Charleston Collegiate, Charleston Day, Mason Prep and Porter-Gaud will unite to raise money for local children.
The “Independent School Peace Fair” will be 3-5 p.m. at the Ashley Hall Sports Complex at 3289 Plowground Road, Johns Island.
This year, students from Charleston Collegiate chose the Carolina Youth Development Center to benefit from the event. Students will sell handmade art, crafts and baked goods. Music group The 3 Dudes and Renee Reinhard will perform. Sponsors include Cheerwine and Charleston Water System.
