Lincoln Middle-High School students honor senior citizens
Lincoln Middle-High School’s Ninth Grade Academy, with the JROTC, the school’s Steel Drum Band and culinary arts students hosted a luncheon for the South Santee Senior Center to showcase Lincoln’s community partnerships and parental involvement.
The event was held in the school’s culinary arts studio and was prepared by Robin White and the Culinary Arts department.
Sgt. Stephen Tinney, Lt. Colonel M. Kirkland and the JROTC students greeted the seniors and escorted them to their tables.
The Ninth Grade Academy students served the lunches and desserts.
Ian MacMichael and the middle and high school steel drum students performed musical selections. Barbara Myers, Christopher Powell and the school’s Gospel Choir also performed.
