Malcolm C. Hursey Elementary to host gathering on family care
The Generations United Family Gathering will be 8-9:30 a.m. May 4 at Malcolm C. Hursey Elementary School at 4542 Simms St. in North Charleston.
The event will include grandparents and other kinship care providers, community members, organizations and local legislators in a discussion on what is being done locally and on the state level to improve the lives of children and the families who take care for them.
