Blue Madness triumphs in Myrtle Beach

The Summerville Soccer Club’s Blue Madness girls soccer team captured U-10 championship honors last weekend at the Coast Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach.

Playing on the Market Common Sports Complex’s artificial turf fields, Blue Madness opened play Saturday with a 2-2 tie versus the Florence Flash, and concluded the day with a 2-2 tie against the Coast 01 Girls Piscatelli.

Entering Sunday’s action, Blue Madness needed a win against TUSA Napoli. After grabbing an early lead, Blue Madness held on for a 5-1 victory, putting them in the championship game against Florence.

In the title game, Blue Madness took charge early and rolled to a 3-0 victory, earned them the championship in the U10 Girls Bronze Division.
