Accounting

Jennifer M. Sigley has joined Moore Beauston & Woodham LLP’s Charleston office as an accounting supervisor in the bookkeeping, tax and business consulting practice. She has more than 17 years of experience in small business consulting, tax planning and preparation, and she specializes in construction industry accounting.

Building supplies

Ty Babbhas joined Buck Lumber & Building Supply as sales manager of the window department. He has more than 17 years of experience in window and door sales. Previously he was with Pella Window & Door.

Credit union

Trey Stone and Cregg Glover have been named mortgage loan officers at South Carolina Federal Credit Union.

Stone has been with the credit union since 2005, and most recently he was a branch service representative. He has a master’s degree from The Citadel.

Glover previously worked as senior loan officer for Carolina Federal Savings Bank in Mount Pleasant. He has a master’s degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Defense

Kathryn S. Murphy has been named to lead the computer applications, services, integration and infrastructure group at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic. She has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia.

Engineering

Michael Lamberti and Justin Peterson have joined ECS Carolinas’ Charleston office. Lamberti is senior technician. He has five years of construction materials testing experience. Peterson is project manager. He has master’s degrees in civil engineering and business administration from Clemson University.

Government

Ford Graham of the S.C. Department of Commerce has been named to lead the state agency’s Europe office in Munich, Germany. He has been with Commerce since 2008, most recently as director of international investment. He has a law degree and a master’s in business administration from the University of South Carolina School of Law and USC’s Moore School of Business. He has a bachelor’s from Tulane University.

Health care

Dr. Christine Canivan has joined Parkwood Pediatric Group as a pediatrician. She has more than 14 years of experience. She has a bachelor’s from the College of Charleston and medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed an internship and residency in pediatric care at the University of Alabama.

Law

Kevin B. Smith has joined Hoffman Law Firm in North Charleston as an attorney. He practices in the areas of personal injury and workers compensation. Previously he was with Steinberg Law Firm. He has a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel and a law degree from The New England School of Law.

J. Ashley Cooper has joined the Charleston office of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP as a partner, and Krista M. McGuire and William D. “Bill” Holley have joined the firm as special counsel.

Cooper has a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

McGuire has a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and a law degree from the University of Florida.

Holley has a law degree and a master’s in business administration from the University of Georgia.

Nonprofit

Krystle Hunt has joined Trident United Way as community volunteer program assistant.

Debby Waid has joined Lowcountry Housing Trust as program director. She has more than 20 years of experience working with affordable housing and community development. Previously, she was vice president of programs at the Humanities Foundation and she was an executive director of Crisis Ministries.

Publishing

Evan Muller and Michael Atwood Jr. have joined BiblioLabs LLC as senior software enginners.

Previously, Muller was a software engineer at Atlas Technologies Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Shippensburg University.

Atwood has a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston. Previously, he was supervisor of software development at NCO.

Real estate

Mark Facklam and Maggie Chussler have joined Carolina One Real Estate as sales associates. Facklam is based in the Trolley Road office in Summerville. He has 13 years of real estate sales experience. Chussler has degrees in social psychology and criminal justice and has worked as a personal trainer and nutrition consultant.

Di Johnson has joined Keller Williams as an agent.
