Charleston Police are seeking an aggravated assault suspect in connection with an attack that occurred early Saturday morning near the Recovery Room bar.
The suspect is described as a black male at least six feet tall. He is in his 40s and may be wearing a dark hoodie with writing on it. The subject possibly has injuries on his face consistent with being punched and scratched. He was last seen in the wooded area under the interstate across from the bar at 685 King St.

The victim awoke a few moments later in the nearby wooded area with the suspect on top of her and yelling at her. The victim struck the suspect several times until he fled the vicinity.
The victim was not sexually assaulted.
