Herb Silverman, author of “Candidate Without a Prayer,” will sign copies of his book 3-5 p.m. today at Blue Bicycle Books downtown.

Amy Carol Reeves, author of “Flux,” will sign copies of her book 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Mount Pleasant Barnes & Noble.

Charlaine Harris, author of “Deadlocked,” will sign copies of her book at 7 p.m. Friday at the West Ashley Barnes & Noble.

William P. Baldwin and Selden B. Hill will sign copies of their book, “The Unpainted South: Carolina’s Vanishing World,” 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. today at Mount Pleasant’s Waterfront Park as part of the Blessing of the Fleet. The pair also will be at the McClellanville Lowcountry Shrimp Festival 11 a.m.-5 p.m. May 5.
