Flowertown Players offering summer acting workshops for children

The Flowertown Players are offering a three-week summer program for children. The workshop will end with performances by the different age groups.

The program runs June 11-30.
Students in the second through fifth grades can attend a morning workshop 9 a.m.-noon, an afternoon workshop 1-4 p.m. or a full-day workshop 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Sixth- through 12th-graders can attend an afternoon workshop 1-4 p.m.

The cost to attend the workshops is $350 for half-day options or $600 for the full-day session.

Two half-day scholarships will be available. The scholarship is open to any financially disadvantaged child. Applications are available at the Flowertown Players’ box office at 133 S. Main St. in Summerville or online at www.flowertownplayers.org.

Applications must be submitted by May 12.

Recipients will be notified by May 18.
