Kershaw County man charged with killing brother
CASSATT – Kershaw County sheriff’s deputies say a man has been arrested in the shooting death of his brother.
Thirty-year-old Robert Daniel Hilton has been charged with murder in the shooting in Cassatt on Tuesday.
Deputies say 35-yearold Michael Paul Hilton was shot with a 12-gauge shotgun following an argument.
Officers called to the home found Michael Hilton’s body on the porch with an apparent gunshot wound to the side.
Sheriff Jim Matthews says Robert Hilton was in the home when officers arrived and was taken into custody. It was not clear if Hilton has an attorney.
