Goose Creek announces summer camps

HALF PINTS SUMMER CAMP: Ages 3-5. Casey Community Center. Each three-week session includes special songs, crafts, cooking, games, experimenting with science and more. June 18-July; 6 Bugs and Dinos. July 9-27; Space and Oceans. 8:30-11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday. Registration fee: $30 (one time fee). Each session: $90 / nonresidents $100.

CREEK KIDS CAMP: Ages 6-10. Casey Community Center. 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday-Friday June 4-Aug. 17. Registration fee $45, weekly fee $110/ $115 nonresident. Additional sibling $95/$100. Activities include fun and games, field trips, sports activities, arts and crafts. Campers must bring their own lunch. Residents can register now, nonresidents starting Monday.

TEEN ADVENTURE CAMP: Ages 11-14. Goose Creek Community Center 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday June 11-Aug. 9 (no camp week of July 2). Activities include climbing wall, field trips, basketball court and video games. Campers bring own lunch. Registration fee $30. Weekly fee $85. Residents can register now, nonresidents starting Monday.

BASKETBALL CLINIC: Ages 5-14. 6-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 18-22. Goose Creek Community Center. The clinic is for both beginners and experienced players. $50/resident, $55/nonresident

BASEBALL CAMP: Ages 7-14 . 8 a.m.-noon. Monday-Friday, June 11-15. Felkel Field Baseball complex. Instructed by the Charleston Baseball Academy. Participants will learn drills and skills. $75/resident, $80/nonresident.

TENNIS AND SWIM CAMP: Boys and girls ages 8-13 at the City tennis courts and pool at the Crowfield Country Club. Includes one hour of tennis instruction and one hour of swim lessons. Two sessions available: Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 19-28 or July 10-19. Ages 6-10, 9-11 a.m. Ages 11-13, 10 a.m.-noon. $50/resident, $55/nonresident.

FUN FITNESS CAMP: Boys and girls ages 4 and up at the Casey Gymnastics Center. Participants will enjoy gymnastics, recreational games, circuit training, crafts and more. Boys and girls should bring lunch; beverages and snacks provided. Two sessions: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., June 4-8 or Aug. 13-17. $100/resident , $110/nonresident.

MAGIC CAMP: Ages 7-12. 9:30-11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday July 30-Aug. 3 at the Casey Community Center. Boys and girls will learn magic tricks and perform a magic show for friends and family. $84/resident, $89/nonresident (includes a magic kit).
