Bowman Road closing coming tonight at midnight
MOUNT PLEASANT - Drivers cruising the Highway 17 corridor will have their second major road re-route in three days when Bowman Road closes tonight in front of the Kmart.
The route is expected to be shut down for the next five months while the bridge over Shem Creek is replaced.
The road is being expanded to four lanes with a center lane and sidewalks.
Drivers are being asked to reroute their paths in the area.
