North Charleston police issued arrest warrants Saturday for a 19-year-old man after an argument turned into a deadly shooting Friday night.

Police are looking for Torren Eady on charges of murder, three counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

According to police, the gunfire and shooting took place around 11 p.m. at 1904 Success St. When officers responded, they found a black man was lying on the stairs of a porch. Another black man was found lying inside the front door.

Both were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina, where one of the men died. He was identified by the Charleston County Coroner’s Office as Adrian King, 21, of North Charleston. The other shooting victim’s wounds are not considered life-threatening.

Authorities believe Eady showed up at the house to confront the men for coming to his residence earlier in the evening to help his child’s mother retrieve their child from him.

Eady allegedly got into an argument with the men and pulled a handgun and fired multiple shots in the crowd that had gathered, striking the two men.
