Body found in Summerville-area home; Dorchester deputies investigating
Deputies in Dorchester County are investigating the death of a Hope Drive resident near Summerville.
The sheriff’s office received a call around 11:30 this morning about a resident found dead in the home at 107 Hope Drive.
Lt. Tony Phinney of the sheriff’s office says deputies are investigating a “suspicious death.”
Authorities said the case appears to be a homicide and that a window in the home was broken.
