Boating course April 14

The Charleston Sail and Power Squadron will conduct America's Boating course 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. April 14 at 1376 Orange Grove Road.

Topics covered include navigation aids, adverse conditions, communications afloat, anchoring, charts, regulations, knots and lines, required safety equipment and more. After the course is completed, a day on the water on squadron boats will be available for docking and wind and tide experience. To register, call 437-6241 or e-mail rhowells125@gmail.com.
