Easter brunch
Slightly North of Broad, High Cotton and the Old Village Post House are serving Easter brunch April 8.

Mellow at 1 year
Mellow Mushroom Avondale has disco fever. From 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Mellow Mushroom will host a 1974 Disco Throwback Brunch with rollback pricing for its one-year anniversary. The brunch is part of Mellow Mushroom Avondale's monthlong celebration. Rollback pricing includes specials such as 60-cent Budweiser and $3.50 large pizzas.
Be among the first 100 people in the door and receive a mystery voucher for various prizes, one prize being free pizza for one year.

Napa pours it on
High Cotton and Keenan Winery, from the Spring Mountain District in Napa Valley, will celebrate spring with a wine dinner at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Wando High School took second at the Carolina's Pro-Start Student Invitational. It also took second in the Restaurant Management Cup.
Spring is brewing
Ted's Butcherblock celebrates the arrival of spring with a Craft Beer Dinner featuring seasonal dishes from chef Eva Keilty and new craft beers from Scott Shor of the Charleston Beer Exchange.
