Tens of thousdands of customers lost power briefly this morning in Summerville, an outage that affected traffic lights and police work.
Kim Asbill, spokeswoman for South Carolina Electric & Gas, said the outage first was reported at 11:39 a.m. She said 25,483 customers lost electricity for about two minutes, but that “isolated” outages affected 835 customers for 90 minutes.
