The Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus is in town!
The animal walk from the rail yard to the North Charleston Coliseum starts at 11:30 a.m. today.
Elephants, horses and other animals will be led through the streets by circus workers. The public is not allowed to join in the 3.5-mile walk, which is expected to take 90 minutes.
The route is from Bennett Yard Road to Dorchester Road to Montague Avenue.
Circus performances start Wednesday.
