Six former Tigers report to NFL Combine today
CLEMSON – Six former Clemson players will be among 300 NFL Draft hopefuls reporting to the NFL Combine which begins today in Indianapolis, Ind. The six-day event consists of player interviews with teams, intelligence tests, drug screening and physical skills tests, which are all part of the evaluation process for April’s NFL Draft.
The Clemson contingent consists of tight end Dwayne Allen, defensive tackles Brandon Thompson and Rennie Moore, defensive end Andre Branch, defensive back Coty Sensabaugh and offensive guard Antoine McClain.
Allen and Branch are projected as late first-round picks or early second-round picks. Thompson is projected as a second-round pick.
Tight ends will work out on Saturday with NFL Network coverage beginning at 9 a.m., tests include the 40-yard dash. Quarterbacks and offensive skill players will work out Sunday with defensive line and linebackers working out Monday and defensive backs conclude the event on Tuesday.
