Resale season coming
The spring children's consignment sale season is approaching, and savvy moms are preparing for this limited-time resale phenomenon. I love being able to find clothes and toys at a fraction of the retail price.
If you are new to the consigning world, Consignment Mommies is a great resource where you can get advice and share ideas.
"Children's consignment sales have quickly become one of the hottest trends throughout the U.S.," said Consignment Mommies founder Chrissy Freeman.
Moms interested in making the most of the children's consignment shopping experience can map out area sales and find information including how to shop a sale, shopping lists and sizing charts for clothes.
Those seeking to consign can use the sale directory to read shopper- and seller-submitted ratings and reviews and gain access to downloadable resources including tips for how to consign, pricing guides, laundry tips and more.

Charleston Repeats is gearing up for its big spring sale March 7-10 at the Omar Shrine Convention Center in Mount Pleasant. Amy Walters, co-founder, says they still have a few volunteer spots left, but only 27 consignor spots left. Deadline to sign up is March 2.
This year will be bigger and better than ever, and Walters says that many of the longtime consignors' children are growing up, so be on the lookout for more affordable fashions for 'tweens and teens. Don't worry, there will be incredible deals on baby clothing and accessories as well.
