North Charleston boys' basketball triumphs
When James Brown's game is on, the North Charleston boys' basketball team feels good.
That was the case Wednesday night as the Cougars opened the Class AA playoffs with a 66-49 victory over Wade Hampton.
Brown led the Cougars with 22 points, but he had more than enough help. Bernard Samuel tallied 20 points and Anthony Williams poured in 18 as the Cougars improved to 19-6.

North Charleston (66): Bernard Samuel 20, Baldwin 4, Gantt 2, James Brown 22, Anthony Williams 18.
